3 Μαρ 2020 · That makes Jesus’ words of warning so surprising: “No one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again” (v. 3).
Being born again signifies that sincere repentance has taken place (Mosiah 27:24; cf. Alma 5:49–51). Those who are born again enter into a covenant with God to “be obedient unto the end of [their] lives” . Those who are born again take upon themselves the “name of Christ” .
Baptists teach that people are born again when they believe that Jesus died for their sin, and was buried, and rose again, and that by believing/trusting in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, eternal life shall be granted as a gift by God.
