The UI Trust Fund provides income stability for Kansas citizens during times of economic difficulty while stimulating economic activity. UI is a federal program managed by the State and requires all changes to the Employment Security Law (ESL) to be approved by the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) before taking effect.
