Animal Control is responsible for protecting the health and safety of citizens and their pets in the City of Arkansas City. Some of the responsibilities of the Animal Control Officer include impounding stray animals, abandoned, abused, dangerous, injured animals along with animals in violation of city ordinances.
Our office is open Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm, Saturday 9am-2pm, and Sunday 1pm-4pm. Outside of office hours we also have an Animal Control Officer on duty 7am-1am 7 days a week at 501-776-5972.
