25 Οκτ 2018 · The Bergara’s barrel can stabilise up to 180-gr, thus making this rifle great for fox, deer or larger boar or African game. Factory ammunition is getting increasingly consistent and accurate these days, not to mention expensive.
26 Μαΐ 2020 · Bergaras are great out of the factory, especially with the premier action & bolt. Their barrels typically shoot lights out, even with factory loads, and tighten up further with a worked up hand load. You just won't be buying a pre-fit barrel when replacement time comes, but any competent smith can re-barrel em.
12 Μαΐ 2022 · My BMR Carbon does surprisingly well, but I've only shot it at 25 yards indoors so far. I bought it to be a lightweight bolt gun for the woods, it definately meets my expectations for that. For me, the stock trigger was horrible. Replaced it with a Trigger Tech Diamond single stage, and set it at 8oz.

At first sight out of the box, the rifle felt clean and hard. The stock was well-matted to the action and had a fully floated barrel.
