24 Απρ 2020 · The best potion in the game, it is extremly cheap and that +2life/s health regen is very good. Let's put that amount into perspective 2life/s over the duration of 60 seconds is 120 life restored. That is stronger than any healing potion obtainable prehardmode without fishing.
Terraria features dozens of Potions that affect your character with some buff or another, many of which are invaluable and worth farming the materials to get. This guide's focus is to get you up to speed on the best buff potions for fighting bosses and where to get the materials.
A good base to have is Thorns, Ironskin, Regeneration, and possibly Swiftness and Bowl of Soup. If you're using Mana consuming items, it's a good idea to use Magic Power Potion, Mana regeneration, a Crystal Ball for Clairvoyance, and a Mana flower equipped with a large stack of Greater mana potions.
I'd argue inferno potions, as they are useful for a bit of extra damage during nearly every boss fight harder to obtain, but definitely not C. Also warmth potion should be C as there is practically no use for it in the base game, unless you're exploring the ice biome.
