Shadowdancer 11-16 (core 3 and then possibly picking up 15% fort bypass and 5% doublestrike) is a good option for any martial, 12 Primal Avatar is pretty good for monks to get you a defensive button, a Cocoon heal, and some extra elemental absorption to make up for lower MRR, or any other little splash can be fine.
6 Φεβ 2011 · This build is made to take advantage of the base damage of the new shuriken, combined with high melee power from prowess and VKF to use melee power instead of ranged. It uses LD for the crit range and multiplier, along with for blizt. The result is absolutely atrocious DPS, rivaling that of a shintao monk, but at range.
The best monk atm is aasimar wisdom based but STAY IN WIND STANCE FOR DPS (the attack speed is nice). There's a reason you can swap stances. They weren't designed to just stay in one.

Quarterstaff monk is great, Unarmed is pretty good, and there are some interesting bow/shuriken builds I haven’t dabbled with yet. Aasimar is the best race imo due to its healing hands racial ability.
15 Απρ 2024 · Compared to other excellent monk builds posted here, it's got updated Epic Destinies that reflect the U66 revamp. I favor using Drifting Lotus for trash mobs and Adrenaline for bosses. It's also got one of the most elegent gearsets I've ever seen in the game.
