I would like to do one more reincarnation as a monk since it is my favorite mechanical class. We all know that monk was hit with crazy nerfs like 3 years ago and have not been super viable end game, but I was wondering if, given the introduction of the Tabaxi race, anyone has found a new monk build?
Shadowdancer 11-16 (core 3 and then possibly picking up 15% fort bypass and 5% doublestrike) is a good option for any martial, 12 Primal Avatar is pretty good for monks to get you a defensive button, a Cocoon heal, and some extra elemental absorption to make up for lower MRR, or any other little splash can be fine.

If your monks is a handwrap build, then of the monk trees, the Shintao tree is the one that you will primarily want to focus on - for the cap, but also for the 39APs that you have to spend before that. Make sure you have empty hand mastery in T5 too. There may be other reasons for disappointing DPS - feats and gear for example.
6 Απρ 2020 · Highest DPS handwrap monk builds are strength based. There aren't really any special gimmicks. Int and Chr are dump stats. Grab the TWF feat line and the other standard feats for melee characters (Improved Critical, Combat Expertise, etc.). Enhancements are 41 points and t5 in Shintao. The rest can go wherever.
