There is no single best OU team, the game is too complex for that. However, you could try out some of the sample teams on Smogon and see which ones you like using and start customising it to your liking.

Pick your Trick Room Team: If you are new to Trick Room playstyle, you might want to refer to my previous post or at least the TLDR part of it so you are aware of the limitations of Trick Room playstyle. Now below are the three teams sorted by level of skill and metagame awareness required to play (explanations given below):
Kingambit: The end game. Speed to be faster than Corv. Black Glasses and Tera Dark combo is absurdly strong (might be a bit overkill, maybe I should just go for a defensive Tera for Volc). When not being an end game menace, nice switch into ghost types. Azumarill: Added it to the team for the typing since it was perfectly what the team needed.

Explanation: Hatterene and Farigiraf are trick room setters, Hatterene has the potential to sweep a team with calm mind, and Farigiraf is a good switch in to Skeledirge or Gholdengo, two very popular OU competitive pokemon. 23 Φεβ 2024 · This Sun team got me to the 1600s in Gen 9 OU. Torkoal sets the Sun with Drought and lays hazards with Stealth Rock, while Rapid Spin denies opposing leads hazards. Lava Plume deals a decent amount of damage and Clear Smog keeps Volcarona from setting up for free. Tera Flying is mainly for Tusk and Roaring Moon, they can be problematic.
