22 Φεβ 2021 · First & foremost by miles, put a KMW PodLoc on it. Second would be an adapter to mount the bipod to a picatinny or ARCA rail. The sling stud mount can be ok, but a rail mount is much more solid. I like the RRS HC-Pro. I have both Harris and Atlas bipods.
6 Ιουλ 2023 · I have a couple of knockoffs and one genuine Harris. Difficult to tell the difference. All are lasting well. However, I confess that the best of the lot is the result of getting two different make knockoffs, dismantling them, and then reassembling all the best bits from the two into one really good bipod.
25 Μαΐ 2024 · Harris bipods do well in PRS, most of the top 20 shooters any given year use Harris bipods. Atlas are great, but really don’t do anything the Harris doesn’t - and pan ends up being more of a pain than a pleasure.
BRM-S/S-BRM* 6-9" is the gold standard Harris. Add a real KMW PodLoc (also available through other sites, just beware of cheap Chinese knock-offs) and you're all set for a basic bipod. *I've seen the name listed both ways over the years.
3 Ιουν 2011 · Re: Harris Bipod vs Clone's One can't scrimp on gear and expect long term value, Harris has been a staple in the industry for years and they have kept their pricing reasonable for the product delivered. Buy the real deal Harris and then consider saving money by hand loading. And no carving wooden bullets is not a viable option either.
