MGM musicals are classics that started the era with talkies that later original songs and choreographed dances that were made for the films. They quickly became a sensation which expanded to other Hollywood studios, but Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's are arguably the best.

About the ones on the MGM collection, they are all at least good movies and all of them have amazing pieces. The unmissable ones are The Band Wagon and An American in Paris. After them, I'd place Broadway Melody of 1940, Brigadoon, For me and my gal and Summer Stock.
