It's a lot harder emulating the PS3 version of RDR versus the X360 one. The engine works differently, SPU emulation completely fucks performance on the PS3 version. XSX runs the game at 60 FPS, so it's the way to go for the time being if you have the console.
PS3 has a fully software PS2 emulator, it can technically play PS2 games, it just doesn't let you play your own games, it's used for PS2 Classics. You can use the emulator with your own games if you install CFW/HEN.
