https://youtu.be/YUxcXAlrYgo. Quick Explanation for the Placements: GOAT Tier: Blue Kaizo - PC loved how the Gen 1 mechanics were retained to make something so challenging. Also loved how the overworld had more puzzles in it. Doesn’t recommend it for casual players and only for experienced ones.
Sacred Gold/Storm Silver: Classic Drayano hack. Very difficult, but balances Johto a lot better than I've ever played it. Really enjoyable to play through but probably not good for a 1st nuzlocke. Renegade Platinum: Probably Drayano's best hack. Just a really, really, good game, with some VERY tough fights, but a huge variety of pokemon.
radical red, inclement emerald and light platinum are some of my favs, ive never done a nuzlocke on a rom hack but these are some of the ones i expect to nuzlocke in the future. Blazed Glazed. Radical red hard mode if you want a challenge. Depends on if you want ti be a masochist or not.

In my opinion, the good characteristics of a hack for this purpose are: >Fine-tuned difficulty curve. everyone knows that vanilla games are designed so even children can beat them.
I really want to get into Nuzlocking but I've played and beaten the original games probably ranging from a few to a dozen times each. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a hack or fan game that is pretty friendly to people starting their Nuzlocke adventures?
