If you can get your intelligence and faith to 80+ (depending on whether you're interested in PvP) the Prince of Death Staff has the highest sorcery scaling of all staffs. At max 99 intelligence and faith it has a sorcery scaling of 448. That's 18 more than Lustat's without the 50% FP debuff.

Elden Ring is an action RPG which takes place in the Lands Between, sometime after the Shattering of the titular Elden Ring. Players must explore and fight their way through the vast open-world to unite all the shards, restore the Elden Ring, and become Elden Lord.
1.06 didn't change them much. carian regal (or any stick) can offhand a staff of loss to boost night spells (shard, comet) by 30%, it's a popular route for a reason, you can ignore fp costs in pvp but they matter in pve, after the bonus they're the highdamage-affordable sweet spot.
The DLC got so much right yet sorceries were such a clear fluke. 28 incantations 14 sorceries. Not only are there much less sorceries than incantations they are less creative and fun. While the new incantations clearly use new assets the sorceries were built using assets from the base game.
I've been exploring the dlc for almost 25 hours, killed 3 major bosses, scadutree +9, and I only found one single sorcery (another moon spell...) and 5 incantations but with arcane req. I can't use weapons because it's a full caster build.
I switched from str /dex to dex/int build at level 100 I have moonveil+5 and meteor staff for spells glin stone/ Loretta great bow / soul of cinder…
On the potential for dlc sorceries with new effects. Lore. So glintsone sorceries are described as the magic of the stars, and come about through the study of celestial bodies. Similarly, the gravity and moon sorceries are based on stellar phenomenon.
