6 Δεκ 2015 · Picked up a $180 version of SD 2.0 the other day (still on sale at Audiodeluxe), and am wondering about expansions. Was considering picking up either Metal Machine, Metal Machinery SDX, or Metal! EZX, since I'm not yet drum savvy and it would be nice to see how their drums are already mastered.

12 Μαΐ 2011 · Toontrack should have merged the best/most useful 25 patches from the Vocals Toolbox pack to the best/most useful 25 from the Lead Vocals one to create a Vocals "all around" expansion set. That would be killer.
I just upgraded from EZX to SD3 in order to try to have a better sounding & more realistic drum sound. I'm trying to understand if my EZX expansions will sound better when running in SD3 as you can tweak more in SD3.
19 Δεκ 2016 · Anyhow, I see at least four EZX libraries: Made of Metal, Metal Machine, Metal!, Metalheads. Which one sounds the best, and is well suited for general rock?
2 Μαΐ 2023 · What I have found so far is that 3-rd party library could be layered perfectly with EZD3 own kits - and for that I really prefer Soniccouture Sun drums which has a lot of snares (kicks are ok too). So while I am not talking you out of new EZX - just really suggesting you to try Sun snares or layer them with built-in snares.
6 Μαΐ 2017 · I’m still using the Modern Kit which comes with EZ Drummer 2 for the most part. I suggest that Toontrack gets whoever created the presets on that pack to be involved on ALL future expansions. It’s the ONLY one that has balls to it in my opinion. Particularly the Power Batter and Ringy Rock presets.
