Beyond Celiac, in partnership with the Society for the Study of Celiac Disease (SSCD), is seeking applications from highly motivated and talented early career academic investigators for a grant that will fund celiac disease research.
Our research funding is directed in two primary ways: 1. Innovative Research Grants: High-Potential Discovery Areas. We will provide grants to help scientists collect the preliminary data needed to begin answering major questions around celiac disease that could lead to breakthroughs for larger-scale research or clinical trials.
Preparing for college can be stressful enough without a gluten-free diet thrown in the mix. To make it easier on you, Beyond Celiac has compiled resources for new and current students, both newly diagnosed and gluten-free diet pros, so students have a one-stop-shop to make the transition easier.
Continuing to live a healthy gluten-free life at college is absolutely doable! It just requires a bit of advance planning, communication and a peek behind the scenes of university food services. This section provides guidance for the college search and application process as well as tips for gluten-free living at college.
24 Οκτ 2024 · Beyond Celiac offers the "Beyond Celiac College Scholarship" which awards the applicant $5,000 to use for their education. This scholarship is open to incoming freshmen with a medically diagnosed gluten-related disorder who will be attending an accredited US-based two- or four-year college.
For example, the Beyond Celiac organization offers the "Step Beyond Celiac KC Run/Walk" Scholarships, geared towards students with celiac disease. The Celiac Disease Foundation also has a yearly scholarship for high school seniors heading into college who have been diagnosed with celiac disease.
Go Beyond Celiac is an online celiac disease registry created by the national nonprofit Beyond Celiac for people with celiac disease. It’s a place where patients can actively participate in research by sharing their stories and experiences and see if they qualify for celiac disease clinical trials.
