17 Ιουλ 2023 · From the reliability and ease of use of four-stroke engines to the customization possibilities and speed of two-stroke engines, we cover it all. Watch as we take both types of engines out...
5 Απρ 2009 · Pro: 2 strokes rev up to their peak power quicker. Pro: A quality 2 stroke is usually preferred by performance seeking buyers. Con:You can't as easily pull up to a gas pump and fuel up, compared to 4 stroke. You have to measure 2 stroke oil and add it to the tank, or carry a supply of premixed fuel.
21 Οκτ 2021 · We can say that both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines require an air-fuel mixture to facilitate combustion and push a piston down. However, 2-stroke engines have simpler designs compared to 4-stroke ones; they don't have a timing chain, valves, or camshafts.
When the structural and operational parameters of a diesel engine are basically the same, comparing its power, for a non turbocharged diesel engine, the output power of a two-stroke diesel engine increases by about 60% to 80% compared to a four stroke diesel engine.
29 Μαΐ 2007 · The ONLY correct comparison below of 2 strokes Vs 4 strokes is that a 2 stroke can (in theory) produce twice the power of a 4 stroke for the same sized engine and the same revs.
two stroke = higher power to weight ratio, but lower fuel efficiency, cleanliness, and lifespan. four stroke = better mileage, longer life, but are heavier and bulkier. Two stroke for racing and fun, four stroke for business. 4 stroke lets you fill at the pump, 2 stroke requires mixing in a gas can.
13 Σεπ 2007 · Diesel running backwards is just that - the engine is rotating backwards, so if you have a 10 speed you will have low and high forward and 10 reverse gears to choose from, with a top speed in reverse in excess of 60 mph.
