Snowmobiling is allowed in Alpine, Afton and Kemmerer, Pinedale, Big Piney and LaBarge all offer access to trailheads on the east side of the range. This area offers deep snow, beautiful scenery and fantastic off-trail riding.
We offer Ski-Doo Snowmobile rentals, backcountry tours, scenic trail tours, and backcountry snowmobile clinics in the Bighorns. We have variety of experiences from epic backcountry tours to family friendly scenic trail rides.

Snowmobile Map 2018-19 - northern. BIGHORN MOUNTAINS NORTH CENTRAL WY. This trail system is maintained through cooperative efforts of the Wyoming Department of State Park & Cultural Resources-Division of State Parks, Historic Sites & Trails, the U.S. Forest Service and local snowmobile clubs.
The Bighorn National Forest offers 387 miles of snowmobile trails. Wyoming law requires that all snowmobiles have either a resident or nonresident user fee decal adhered to the machine. The snowmobile season is December 1 thru April 15.
