15 Αυγ 2023 · Perfectly situated between the historic Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area and the peaceful woodlands along the Youghiogheny River, bicyclists can enjoy two distinct trail experiences depending on which direction they choose.
The trail’s gentle grade, isolated from motorized traffic, offers people of all ages and levels of physical ability a place where they can safely walk, jog, bicycle, cross-country ski, or even ride horses.
Try this 7.5-mile point-to-point trail near McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 2 h 18 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.
