15 Αυγ 2023 · A small village on the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail, just 20 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, Boston, PA is the gateway to the “Relaxed GAP.” Known to many as “Little Boston,” its landmark light-blue 1932 cantilever bridge lets you know you have arrived.
Try this 7.5-mile point-to-point trail near McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 2 h 18 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.

Our journey begins under the Boston Bridge, starting from GAP mile marker 128. The Great Allegheny Passage, a 150-mile trail stretching from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Cumberland, Maryland, offers a beautiful car-free route for cyclists and hikers.
The trail’s gentle grade, isolated from motorized traffic, offers people of all ages and levels of physical ability a place where they can safely walk, jog, bicycle, cross-country ski, or even ride horses.
