19 Ιουν 2008 · Recently I auditioned a bunch of Bill's pickups for an ash bodied strat-ish guitar (Music Man Albert Lee). I had tried Areas in there and ordered a bunch of BLs- L200, L298s and one L290 for the bridge. I found the L200s were the best for the vintage strat vibe and weren't too height sensitive.
Per their website: "L-200S #1. The L-280S pickups are probably the most versatile and functions well in most guitars and with most amps. Using different height adjustments and an assortment of amp settings, the L280S can reproduce a wide range of sounds, especially if the player uses a variety of right hand techniques.

Our pickups are made in the USA using 98% US-made parts, including our copper wire, cable and plugs, lead wires, machined parts, G10, and copper clad. Our molds and chrome plating are also ran in the US.
A very nice neck pickup, goes well with both the L500L and the L500XL. It is a dual blade style pickup with alnico 5 magnets. Along with the other L500 series, Dimebucker, and EMG, and select Dimarzi… The L500L is very similar to the L500XL, but lower output.
