1 Ιαν 2011 · I found a recipe for a homemade blackpowder solvent, can't remember where but here it is. Mix up a pint or more of the following: 2 parts hydrogen peroxide, 2 parts alcohol (methyl or isopropyl), and one part Murphy's Oil Soap.

But simply mixing the ingredients together is not going to give you the results you are looking for. Follow these instructions on making black powder--just be careful as you are working with explosives.
23 Οκτ 2012 · A general purpose blackpowder solvent and liquid patch lube. Shake well before using Castor Oil 3 oz. Murphy's Oil Soap 1 oz. Witch Hazel 4 oz. Isopropyl Alcohol (91%) 8 oz. Water (non-chlorinated if available) 16 oz. I dip my patching in this twice and let it dry laid flat on wax paper in between.
18 Ιαν 2022 · What do you guys use for your blackpowder solvent to clean. I have used #13 cleaner, but have recently changed to Moose Milk. It is organic and it is homemade. I have used a couple different recipes, but like Moose Milk- which is 2 parts water (I use distilled) with one part Ballistol.
