The Blasket Centre is a museum dedicated to the history of the Blasket Islands. The museum is located in Dunquin on the Dingle Peninsula, just opposite the famous islands.
The Center is located directly across from the Great Blasket Island which was evacuated in the 50's due to low population. There are views of the homes that still remain and the Center educates the visitor on the history of the Blasket Islands and the surrounding mainland.
