The Standard First Aid Course is a 17-hour course covering a myriad of first aid topics, from treating minor bleeding to emergency procedures such as Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and operating the automated external defibrillator (AED).
Our Standard First Aid course covers essential topics such as CPR, wound care, burns, fractures, allergic reactions, and more as per Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) guidelines. Trainees gain hands-on experience and practical skills to handle a wide range of emergencies.
Demonstrating Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) skills. Demonstrating first aid for an unconscious casualty. Demonstrating first aid for heat disorders, bites, and sting. Demonstrating techniques for controlling bleeding, and first aid for wounds.
Module 3: Wounds, bleeding and shock. - Bleeding, Shock, Types of Wounds, Management of bites and stings, Allergic Reaction, Principles and Techniques in Applying Bandages for Bleeding Wounds. Module 4: Fractures and soft tissues injuries.
