28 Μαρ 2023 · What is the blinded condition in D&D 5e? The blinded condition is a status effect that can be applied to a player or creature that causes them to have their vision seriously impaired. In practical terms, being blinded significantly hinders a character’s ability to engage in combat.
Most conditions, such as blinded, are impairments, but a few, such as invisible, can be advantageous. A condition lasts either until it is countered (the prone condition is countered by standing up, for example) or for a duration specified by the effect that imposed the condition.
