In Greek mythology, ichor (/ ˈ aɪ k ər /) is the ethereal fluid that is the blood of the gods and/or immortals. The Ancient Greek word ἰχώρ ( ikhṓr ) is of uncertain etymology, and has been suggested to be a foreign word, possibly the Pre-Greek substrate .
“Petra’, meaning rock, and “Ichor”, the blood running through the veins of Greek Gods. This wonderful aroma; petrichor, produced by rain falling on parched earth, derives from “Ichor”, oil, produced by certain plants, which is absorbed by the earth.
Whether it’s tragic figures or love stories, or tales of magic and the supernatural, classical myths have retained their power down the millennia, and poets have often made use of these memorable tales when writing everything from love lyrics to dramatic monologues.
Ichor was the golden fluid that flowed in the veins of gods and immortals, in Greek mythology. It was also believed that it was toxic to mortals, killing them instantly. Ichor also ran through the single vein that Talos had, a giant bronze man with wings that was seen in Ancient Crete.

The Erotes were the ancient Greek winged gods of love, a multiplication of the god Eros. Their number was varied--Hesiod describes a pair, Eros (Love) and Himeros (Desire) who were present at the birth of Aphrodite, while later writers add a third, Pothos (Passion), to create a triad of goldings.
