27 Φεβ 2023 · iPod shuffle not recognized by iTunes My iPod shuffle is not recognized by iTunes on my Mac. While it shows up under locations as an external drive labeled as an iPod, the folder is empty and there is no sign of any potential actions. Additionally, it is not recognized at all in iTunes.
17 Δεκ 2018 · I can't get my ipod shuffle to show up in itunes. It currently doesn't have any music on it, so I need itunes to recognize it so I can use it... It appears in the system profiler under usb, just not in itunes.

Click install if there are any updates of iTunes available. If you’re using PC and the iTunes is downloaded from the Apple Website. Open iTunes

18 Σεπ 2007 · i have just received a new ipod shuffle 1GB 2nd Gen and when i first plugged it in to my Mac it wasn't recognised by iTunes, only as a 'Volume' in Finder.
