EXPO or EXceptional POtential is the name given to Denton ISD's gifted and talented program. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade are served in an enrichment based pull-out program with an EXPO Specialist.
1 Αυγ 2023 · Persons nominating students must complete a general referral form. (click for English) referral form (click for Spanish), and submit it to the school office or the campus EXPO specialist. This is if you choose to complete a paper referral. DISD is in the process of moving to an all-digital system.
If elementary students do not have two qualifying scores (95 percentile) and are admitted to a district's gifted and talented program, students will be assessed based on the current qualifications of the Denton ISD EXPO program.
