At UMaine’s 4-H Camp at Blueberry Cove on twenty-five acres overlooking Tenants Harbor, campers find the simple, yet profound joys of their grandparents’ youth: hiking to see a full moon rise over the ocean, discovering the joy of exploring the natural world with great friends, and feeling the wind on their faces as they learn to sail.
The UMaine 4-H Learning Centers at Tanglewood and Blueberry Cove provide opportunities for people to connect to the natural world and each other. Each year we hire a well-rounded team to carry out hands-on programming that builds skills, inspires creative problem-solving and helps young folks reach their full potential.
