28 Ιαν 2023 · Hello, 535i 2011 throws 101F01 "Airmass system plausability: calculated airmasses in the in the air intake system not plausible". It used to trigger CEL now and then, now its always on. Car runs great, just a slightly rough idle.
16 Ιαν 2021 · Did you try running the Test Plan for error code 101F01 in ITSA? It will walk you through the diagnostic steps to determine root cause. That is how I was able to determine that it was indeed the intake plenum map sensor.
11 Αυγ 2022 · I did the service bulletin from BMW for this issue: disconnected the purge valve, started the engine, idling for 15 minutes, turned off the engine, connected the purge valve, cleaned all errors.
3 Ιουλ 2023 · SO, if you have an N55(335i, 535i, x5 35i, etc.) and your ONLY 2 codes are 101F01 and 104301, I think I can safely say, you need a MAP sensor. But, be sure to get the correct one, or else you won't fix the issue.
I just picked up a 2011 X3 35i that is setting a P0112F or 101f01 code. I've checked all the charge air pipes for leaks and everything is sealed up good. The valve cover was replaced recently with a new one so the PCV is not an issue. Both pressure sensors are working fine.
20 Ιουν 2023 · Correct, Mass Air Flow Sensor that is connected just after the airbox. There are also 2 MAP sensors, one pre-throttle body and one post-throttle body. Thanks, ordered an aftermarket one to test to see if that was the issue with the car and will report.
