25 Ιουν 2015 · I test drove it the other day and here's the symptom that I noticed: when the engine temp has gone over the quarter mark, the radiator fan would kick in at what seemed like max rpm. From inside the car I could feel vibration on the steering wheel when the fan kicked in.

25 Ιουν 2016 · The definition of a Fault Code (and the wiring diagram & Power Supply Fuse) depends upon the Engine, DME Variant & Build Month/Year of your 323i. Please provide at least the Engine & Build Mo/Yr if you don't know about the DME. Also check to see if your vehicle has a Radiator Outlet Temp Sensor located on the Lower Radiator Hose.

Customer. My engine light is on. Drove a couple hundred miles on Monday. Car seems fine. Did obd scan and got 1D2404 map thermostat, line disconnected. Wondering if it is ok to drive the car long distance? BMW Mechanic: Steve. it "should" be fine, but you could end up with an overheating issue.
29 Δεκ 2023 · The fault code you have is for the MAP thermostat portion which is the electrical plug that connects to the thermostat that allows for extra cooling. One of the most common failures on this engine is the water pump. Did you have an engine overheat at any time before you lost heat and can you let me know what led up to the no heat situation.
