29 Αυγ 2021 · I guess your error is 1D2404 (no zero at the end). Check the thermostat with ignition on, if it gets 12V on one of its pins (ground is controlled by the engine control). If not, check wiring, if yes, replace thermostat.
2 Απρ 2022 · Hey everyone, I recently got this check engine light and I went to check the codes and "1D2404 map-controlled thermostat, control cable disruption" came up. Does anyone know how to fix this problem and what is causing it?
1D2404 - Thermostat replaced. Hi, I need some help, I recently replaced my Thermostat due to code 1D2404. as a back story, I was replacing my oem cooler back to my aftermarket cooler after replacing it what I normally do is run bimmerlink to see if any codes pop up.
P.S. the scanner is from BMS JB4, the car is working fine, no error code on the dash board.
The Service Engine Soon light is on with one or more of the following fault codes: 1D2009 - characteristic map thermostat: clamped closed. 10921B - characteristic map thermostat, stroke sensor: short circuit to ground. 1D2008 - characteristic map thermostat: clamped open.

6 Ιουν 2019 · These are the two that I am getting: 138A11 i.e. Exhaust flap, plausibility: implausible adjustment time AND 1D2404 i.e. Map-controlled thermostat, control: Line disconnected. Has anyone worked with these error codes before or knows how to do the repair for them.
