25 Ιουν 2015 · I test drove it the other day and here's the symptom that I noticed: when the engine temp has gone over the quarter mark, the radiator fan would kick in at what seemed like max rpm. From inside the car I could feel vibration on the steering wheel when the fan kicked in.
I have the following fault code 1d2404 Map thermostat line interruption. What is it exactly?

iTrader: (0) error code: 1D2404 Map thermostat, line disconnected, pls help. I have this on my 520i (N20), any idea how to fix it? Many thanks. DM. 6 Ιουν 2019 · I recently got the check engine light and bought a carly adapter to look at the fault codes. These are the two that I am getting: 138A11 i.e. Exhaust flap, plausibility: implausible adjustment time AND 1D2404 i.e. Map-controlled thermostat, control: Line disconnected.
The Service Engine Soon light is on with one or more of the following fault codes: 1D2009 - characteristic map thermostat: clamped closed. 10921B - characteristic map thermostat, stroke sensor: short circuit to ground. 1D2008 - characteristic map thermostat: clamped open. 1D2401 - characteristic map thermostat, actuation: short circuit to B+.
