29 Αυγ 2021 · I guess your error is 1D2404 (no zero at the end). Check the thermostat with ignition on, if it gets 12V on one of its pins (ground is controlled by the engine control). If not, check wiring, if yes, replace thermostat.
2 Απρ 2022 · Hey everyone, I recently got this check engine light and I went to check the codes and "1D2404 map-controlled thermostat, control cable disruption" came up. Does anyone know how to fix this problem and what is causing it?

10 Σεπ 2023 · Connecting an OBD2 scanner tool and reading BMW transmission fault codes is your first step. Codes point to specific sensors, solenoids or components causing problems. Look up BMW trouble codes to research likely repairs.
8 Ιαν 2012 · Although, I know a few people who have pulled codes from their DME indicating a reduced flow rate. The pump failed within the next few months. So if you have a way to pull codes from the DME and you get one telling you there is a reduced flow rate, it's time to replace that pump!
