My active grille is not working, and it is driving me crazy. Getting these two codes from ISTA: 1) LIN Bus, message; radiator blind, top; missing. 2) Signal (status, cooling flap, brake, front axle, 257.6.8) invalid, transmitter DME/DDE.
2 Απρ 2022 · They replaced it but soon after it got fried again. They went back to check the actuator of the shutters and it felt hot. So faulty actuator. I don't think BMW sells the actuator seperately as it comes built-in with the air duct but it would be great if someone can confirm that.
16 Μαΐ 2022 · Here is what I have done: 1) Replaced top radiator blind actuator with a brand new one from BMW. 2) That did not fix the problem, so I checked all the wiring - looks good, and the plug to the actuator is receiving 2-3 volts so power is there.
Enter a BMW fault code (P or hex), complete the captcha, and click "Search". P-Codes will start with a P and are usually generated by generic scanners. Example: P1055. Hex Codes are typically given by more advanced scanners. Examples: 180101 or 1B9308 or 30FF.
29 Αυγ 2018 · I think you contradict yourself by saying BMW should focus on safety features and then saying you have to factory order them if you need them. All the features you mentioned are available on BMW and many of them are standard in G30. As for active shutters, they have a specific purpose. It's not there for cosmetic reasons.
13 Απρ 2018 · I had crank and wont start issue last time. Turned out that the power distribution box (under the hood left, passenger side) was faulty. Any good bmw software should be able to diagnose.
11 Ιαν 2023 · Only codes that it triggers seem to be ICM related which I suspect are related to the power interruption. Codes are as follows: CD9203 - radiator shutters - Permanent (was in a minor front end accident and I think the shutters were not hooked up or something was damaged
