2 Απρ 2022 · They replaced it but soon after it got fried again. They went back to check the actuator of the shutters and it felt hot. So faulty actuator. I don't think BMW sells the actuator seperately as it comes built-in with the air duct but it would be great if someone can confirm that.

My active grille is not working, and it is driving me crazy. Getting these two codes from ISTA: 1) LIN Bus, message; radiator blind, top; missing. 2) Signal (status, cooling flap, brake, front axle, 257.6.8) invalid, transmitter DME/DDE.
16 Μαΐ 2022 · Here is what I have done: 1) Replaced top radiator blind actuator with a brand new one from BMW. 2) That did not fix the problem, so I checked all the wiring - looks good, and the plug to the actuator is receiving 2-3 volts so power is there.
The previous errors cleared out when clearing the DTC. Now getting two other errors, CD9203-LIN, communication radiator shutter missing and CD9204-LIN, communication lower radiator shutter missing causing the warning indicator on the dash again. sorry for update.

14 Μαρ 2020 · Check ISTA to see if it offers any Service or Test Plan/ Procedure. Check any Connectors for the Shutter Drive & Solenoid for corrosion, looseness, or damage to wiring/connectors, as with any intermittent electrical issue.
At the end I found out it's a issue with the following code CD9203 Mechanic's Assistant: Does the light stay on, or does it blink? Customer: Stay on Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your BMW?
