My active grille is not working, and it is driving me crazy. Getting these two codes from ISTA: 1) LIN Bus, message; radiator blind, top; missing. 2) Signal (status, cooling flap, brake, front axle, 257.6.8) invalid, transmitter DME/DDE.
2 Απρ 2022 · Update: I took the car to a good mechanic/electrician ans they confirmed that the actuator was actually faulty. They traced the wires from the actuator to the glovebox fusebox and the fuse was fried. They replaced it but soon after it got fried again. They went back to check the actuator of the shutters and it felt hot. So faulty actuator.
10 Αυγ 2021 · So this started two weeks ago but essentially I got the 03/2021 OTA update for my 6/19 build 2020 M340i and finally decided to update it after being prompted for a few days. The update failed and the car said something like, "Software update failed. Contact roadside." and wouldn't start anymore.
2 Ιουλ 2019 · CD0487 ZGM: Sycronisation process for FlexRay failed. She hasn't added anything aftermarket to the car like stereos or anything and all I did was clear the codes and update the BMW iDrive software to the latest. Now I get no error codes.
16 Δεκ 2022 · 2019 BMW 320D [0.00] software update not installing. Hi, i downloaded the 07/2022 update about 3 weeks ago. I am unable to install it. The car states that preparation is complete and I will be notified when the update is ready for install. Normally I’m able to install immediately after update.
25 Οκτ 2016 · The following caveats apply: Installation of ISTA+ discussed in the document is limited to sources obtained from the Rheingold/ISTA-D thread in this forum only. If you got it from somewhere else, you're on your own. You will probably get help but without knowing where it was obtained, it is hard to tell how to install or configure it.
There is no immediate repair required unless the BMW vehicle is currently experiencing this problem. Customer Notification Letter Even though this is NOT a Recall, BMW NA will be sending VIN-specific customer notification letters.
