20 Μαρ 2020 · I neither know nor care what BMW says to use currently. Normally I am a purist as far as BMW specifications go but not in the case of spline lube. There was a reason that back in the '80s BMW said to lubricate clutch splines once a year and that reason was the use of an unsuitable lubricant. Maybe things are better now. Or maybe not.

25 Ιουν 2008 · The closest BMW dealer is too far to go for just stems (unless it's a nice day and I have a few free hours), and I'd hate to pull my tires off only to find that the stems I got at the local Yamaha (or NAPA) shop were the wrong size. Websites for car or cycle parts don't seem to list stem diameter, which suggests they may all be the same size.
22 Ιουν 2009 · I have found with BMW bikes and the Telelever front suspension that they maintain their stability better and slow speeds even when using the front brakes. Other bikes I have ridden dive a little when you hit the front brake at slow speeds and upset the suspension causing instability. The BMW not so much. Overall, I love this bike.
