This article outlines a few common problems in BNC footprint designs, and illustrates examples of carefully designed footprints for edge-mount and through-hole connectors for use with National’s LMH0384 3G/HD/SD adaptive cable equalizer, LMH0303 cable driver, and LMH0387 Configurable I/O devices.
