9 Οκτ 2010 · With V8 and V6 engines using side mounts, make sure you have approximately equal weight on each mount. Once you get the alignment where you want it, tighten all the mounts to spec, and RECHECK your alignment. Many times I have seen guys tighten the front side mounts and have the mount pull the engine down and throw the alignment off.

24 Αυγ 2009 · The quickest way to find "center" for the shaft is to move the coupler up & down, then left & right, center being half way for both. The trick is making the measurements and then 'fixing' the shaft to get a reference for the engine to get aligned to. My shafts are 1.5" OD and the ID on the log is 2".
In order to align the strut it must be removed or dropped from the bottom of the boat. All of the strut bolts are removed and a considerable forced is applied to break the bond between the strut and the hull (typically and epoxy, chalk-fast, marine tex or 5200).

12 Φεβ 2023 · Does a 4-wheel alignment actually do anything useful on an undamaged vehicle? And is it advisable to do it routinely when replacing tires? I've not noticed any symptoms of misalignment such as vibrations or pulling to one side.
A boat trailer can get out of alignment when an accident occurs or from hard bouncing when the trailer navigates down extremely rough roads, resulting in the axle being bent out of shape. The only way to correct the problem is to bend it back into its original position.
