The Great Loop interactive map on America’s Great Loop Cruisers’ Association’s (AGLCA) website shows the route with markers for Harbor Hosts, sponsors, members’ favorite places and things to do and Waterway Guide markers for anchorages, bridges and locks.
Displays a map on which the great circle path for one or more routes is plotted and calculates the distance along each route. Ranges from one or more locations may also be plotted, along with go/no-go areas for ETOPS operations at various rule times.
This policy is called composite great circle route planning, done with waypoints. This calculator relieves the tedious process of determining those waypoints for the voyage. Enter the latitude and longitude information for origin and destination, paying attention to the hemisphere selection.
