27 Ιουν 2018 · Now there are adaptor kits and stand alone controllers to run them, does anyone know anyone who has fitted a 6R80 behind a SBF? I'm curious about what is required to get it all working right. And wether it needs sensor wise on the engine to work properly.
25 Δεκ 2020 · I want to make a list of parts needed here for the conversion based on my findings and what others have already done. Advanced Adaptors has the 6R80 crossmember for the Early Bronco and the Tail Housing Adaptor for the D20, Atlas and other Transfer Cases of choice. Engines with Small Block Ford Bell Housings:
22 Ιουλ 2006 · Don't even think about an adapter plate. After using a JW bellhousing and a JW "the wheel" flexplate, you'll never ever want to go back to a POS adapter plate. The PG bell needs to be cut off, then the JW ultrabell will bolt on with grade 8 hardened bolts that also bolt the pump to the case.
23 Απρ 2020 · To help with the fun factor I picked up a 6R80 out of a 2013 F150 with 38K on it for $600 which I couldn’t pass up, bought the block adapter and the quick six gen 2 controller. Now my only question is anyone running the PA68509 adapter kit with the stock converter?
13 Μαΐ 2021 · I have sbf tripower (c1ae carbs ) sitting on my shelf . Mine has a Lokar throttle cable that runs around the front of the manifold to the linkage .
16 Μαΐ 2020 · Ford had a tendency to design engine parts to fit a certain body, instead of a body to fit a certain engine. If you know what body your SBF came out of originally, you can usually find the correct matching parts.
8 Αυγ 2010 · This is a general 429/460 guide for you guys that are looking for alternatives to small blocks and power adders. The fox chassis is perfect for the 429/460 engine, it’s a wonder Ford never produced a fox with a BBF.
