5 Ιαν 2024 · To contact the Amazon Credit Card reconsideration line, call 1 (888) 270-2127. Calling the Amazon Credit Card reconsideration line is a way for denied applicants to request a second review of their application and potentially get the denial overturned.
For those that get initially denied, my suggestion is to try the reconsideration line because you might have better luck if you can plead your case. It also is an advantage if you’re already banking with Chase for a long period of time or have a lower tier credit card with them.
29 Ιουλ 2022 · I didn’t realize it but they have a pre-approval and I just tried it and I was denied due to them not able to access my credit report. So, I just went back and lifted the Equifax freeze. I’ll try the pre-approval again in an hour or so.
To retry a declined payment: Go to Your Orders. Do one of the following: Try again with a different payment method, as follows: Select Change Payment Method next to the order you want to modify. Select another payment method from your account or submit a new card number and select Confirm.
it's not an outright denial but you'll probably get a letter in the mail saying that it was denied. That's a lot of credit cards in a short period of time... I have 4 that I opened over a year's time and I'm done for a long time (Yes, one of them is an Amazon card by Chase)...

Immediately after submitting my application (through Amazon's site), I was told that Chase bank could not approve my application and that I would receive the reasons why in writing within 30 days. I honestly don't know why I was declined, and thought someone here might be able to help.
