23 Φεβ 2023 · I was wondering if anyone had any USB 3.0 Drivers that work for Vista x64. Please help! don't get too exited to use vista as you have a haswell cpu which causes the os to not boot properly. Vista x64 doesn't work properly on Intel haswell and later cpus. You need to use Vista x86.

Safe mode doesn't load your video drivers, plus you are seeing the mouse and it works, as well you say the Safemode watermarks DO eventually show up. It's something else, but what that thing is, is hard to say.
First, try booting into safe-mode. Windows should load generic drivers for the mouse and keyboard and they should stick when you reboot into normal mode. If you have a special kind of mouse/keyboard for which Windows keeps ignoring the generic drivers and tries to load advanced drivers, then you can try the System Recovery Options.
