This 1970 edition is a roller, i.e., its important engine and 4-speed manual transmission are missing. Ford was obliged to produce an “x” number of Boss 302s for John Q. Public. In 1969, this amounted to 1,628 copies, which ballooned to 7,013 units in 1970.
With few non-functional add-ons, this 1970 Ford Boss 302 Mustang didn’t boast the most stripes, wings, or cubic inches, but the tight-handling, high-revving pony car made an excellent starting point for real racers.
This is a low mileage 1969 Mustang Boss 302 survivor. After being parked in this barn for 30 years or so, it is now waiting for a new owner to get it back on the road. It has been pulled from its New Hampshire barn and is now offered here on eBay.

24 Μαρ 2015 · Sitting in a garage since 1976, we stumbled across a truly rare find: a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. Not too shabby for 45 year old paint. The 302 cubic-inch 5.0 liter V8 engine under the hood is a composite engine that uses a Windsor block and expansive Cleveland cylinder heads.
