I installed the required programs needed for mods such as SKSE, Nexus Mod Manager, and BOSS. 3. I installed my selection of mods via the Nexus Mod Manager. 4. I ran BOSS which setup the load order.

  4. BOSS is designed to assist mod users in avoiding detrimental conflicts, by setting the correct load order for the plugins they have installed. BOSS also provides thousands of plugin-specific messages, including usage notes, Bash Tag suggestions, requirements, incompatibilities, bug warnings and installation mistake notifications.

  5. There are really only three to choose from: Vortex, Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) and Nexus Mod Manager (NMM). Go with either Vortex or MO2. The meta on which is more difficult to use seems to have changed.
