13 Αυγ 2008 · This is a Keeled modded MIJ Boss SD-1. The red LED indicator has been replaced with a blue LED. A hole has been drilled in the top and a mini toggle switch has been installed.
5 Σεπ 2012 · A stock Boss SD-1 schematic (left), and an SD-1 schematic with an LED swapped out in place of the original clipping diode to yield a louder, warmer, more responsive feel (right). You can also achieve asymmetrical clipping by removing an original diode and replacing it with an LED, which tends to yield more headroom and volume.

2 Ιαν 2016 · So let me show you a few basic modifications to serve as a starting point where you can begin to tinker with your own mods to this classic overdrive. These modifications are meant to give you some options to alter the tone to suit your rig.
30 Ιαν 2010 · Try an AUDIO taper pot (1M) instead of the standard linear taper. It gives you much more control over the low gain range of the pedal, and doesn't reduce the maximum gain level at all. And finally, you'll probably want to add this. It's important, because the bypass circuit on the SD-1 isn't very good.
Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive modified by Robert Keeley to improve it. The improvement consists (according to the website of mister Keeley) keep the tone color of the SD-1 "stock" while increasing the gain, making it more precise and definite.
