  1. 29 Αυγ 2024 · The rifle weighs 36 lb and the brakes actually work. My 115lb 5.2" wife shot my Boys rifles quite a bit and her only complaint was the backblast from the brake. I made up a couple brakes with slots on the sides and that helped a lot for the shooter, not so much for people off to either side.

  6. Anti-tank guns, including the Boys, were used as sniper rifles in WWII because of their accuracy. They didn't use scopes. At the distance OP is shooting a scope is uneeded and actually can be a hindrance to accurate fire.
