The museum organised and held four major film events every year: Bradford International Film Festival, Bradford Animation Festival, Bite the Mango and Fantastic Films Weekend. These attracted international speakers and new and classic works from around the world.
5 Ιουν 2023 · Watch a film in fabulous Pictureville, or experience our 60ft IMAX screen. The box office for all cinemas is on this level, just to the left of the museum entrance. Enjoy lunch in the Café (open 10.00–16.00) and treat yourself to a gift from the Museum Shop.

16 Ιουν 2023 · The National Science and Media Museum is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a short film sharing some memorable events over the years. The museum opened in Bradford on 16 June 1983.
Bradford became the world’s first UNESCO City of Film in 2009, bestowing international recognition on Bradford as a world centre for film. Bradford is famous for its rich film heritage, inspirational filming locations and many celebrations of the moving image.
