  1. 11 Μαρ 2024 · Brain age gaps (BAGs) for GM (BAG GM) and WM (BAG WM) were derived from diffusion-weighted imaging and T1 scans separately using 3-dimensional-convolutional neural network deep learning techniques. RESULTS: There was an increase in both BAG GM and BAG WM with raised BP (P <0.05).

  2. Normal aging involves multiple overlapping processes occurring in brain structure that can be quantitatively assessed using MRI, PET, and other imaging methods, and can inform the study of cognitive aging when judiciously used in conjunction with careful cognitive testing.

  3. 31 Μαΐ 2022 · Every 10 mmHg increase in SBP above 110 mmHg was associated with a −0.12% (56–65 years) lower RHCV, and −0.10% (56–65 years) lower LHCV in women; and a −0.008% (56–65 years) lower RHCV, and −0.07% (56–65 years) lower LHCV in men. However, the effect did not reach significance in men (Figure 1 b).

  4. 22 Αυγ 2014 · 1 Mention. Explore all metrics. Abstract. During the course of normal aging, biological changes occur in the brain that are associated with changes in cognitive ability. This review presents data from neuroimaging studies of primarily “normal” or healthy brain aging.

  5. 22 Αυγ 2019 · This chapter describes typical structural brain changes seen on imaging studies in “normal” aging and includes practical guidelines for application in daily clinical neuroradiology practice to identify abnormality.

  6. 19 Απρ 2021 · BP was measured, and phase-contrast (PC) magnetic resonance imaging was acquired to estimate total brain CBF PC. Cognitive outcomes included verbal and working memory, processing speed, mild cognitive impairment, and all-cause dementia.

  7. 14 Μαρ 2017 · This paper presents a multimodal brain imaging setup, capable to non-invasively and continuously measure cerebral hemodynamic, cardiorespiratory and blood pressure oscillations...
