28 Ιουν 2014 · I recognize Taboe and Ross. Taboe was one of the other platoons senior Drill Sergeants when I went. DS Chappelle, DS Ross, and DS Lee. I did my second basic training at Ft. Benning. E-2/58 I think. Oct 90 to Jan 91. I don't remember the Drill Sgts names but there was one who sounded exactly like Elmer Fudd. Good guy.
Hello r/army, I arrived at Ft. Benning on July 2, and here we are 22ish weeks later after completing the first cycle of the new Infantry OSUT. Here is what we did and some of my thoughts after its all said and done.
The 50th Infantry Regiment is a United States Army infantry regiment. Lineage. Constituted 15 May 1917 in the Regular Army as the 50th Infantry. Organized 1 June 1917 at Syracuse, New York. Assigned 31 July 1918 to the 20th Division. Relieved 28 February 1919 from assignment to the 20th Division. Inactivated 31 December 1921 in Germany.
